Description:
This is an incredibly challenging criterium course that will throw everything at the riders. It will start in front of Full Sail Brewing Company and proceed in a clockwise fashion. Riders will start uphill on Commercial Street before taking a sharp right hand turn onto Wasco Street. They will then immediately descend into a left hand curve followed immediately by a sharp right hand turn coming back nearly 120 degrees. A long flat straight stretch on Industrial allows riders to pick up serious speed before they make a series of three 90 degree right hand turns followed by a left that puts them on the home stretch to the finish line, right in front of Full Sail Brewing Company. This will be a physically demanding criterium that fits in well with the overall nature of the event. Big Hurt! Tight corners and smooth asphalt will allow riders to hang it all out. Music, food, Full Sail Ales, one of the Northwest’s best race announcers calling the race, and frenzied crowds will make this a seriously fun event.
